TANGO

Interested in dancing, watching, learning, playing, or just listening to Argentine tango? Voilà: Two key resources in the Twin Cities.

▌ THE DANCE

The Tango Society of Minnesota is mostly about dancing Argentine tango, and your key resource for Milongas (tango dance parties), dance instruction, and a very complete calendar of events for all things related to Argentine tango.

▌ THE MUSIC

Charles Gorczynski. That’s the name you need to know if you love tango music and want to listen, play, sing, and watch others do so in the Twin Cities. Check out his projects, including the Twin Cities Tango Collective.

You can even play in the Community Tango Ensemble or Northwoods Ensemble this Fall! They need violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, guitar, bandoneon, accordion, flute, and clarinet players. No experience is required, all levels welcomed.
